Jewish-Ukrainian Oligarch Igor Kolomoisky is Pro-Russia Now – Nazbols Say What?

The Nazbol kooks would always throw this guy’s name around to try to discredit Ukraine’s cause.

But now he’s pro-Russia or at least wants Ukraine to get back in bed with Russia…. so what’s their schizoid line now?

In the last five years, more than 13,000 people have died in a de facto war between Ukraine and Russia — a fight, many here say, to shake off the shackles of a colonial master and to move closer to the West.

A crucial figure in the effort was a billionaire named Ihor Kolomoisky, who spent millions of dollars to field and equip fighters and helped stop the Russian advance in 2014.

But Mr. Kolomoisky, widely seen as Ukraine’s most powerful figure outside government, given his role as the patron of the recently elected President Volodymyr Zelensky, has experienced a remarkable change of heart: It is time, he said, for Ukraine to give up on the West and turn back toward Russia.

“They’re stronger anyway. We have to improve our relations,” he said, comparing Russia’s power to that of Ukraine. “People want peace, a good life, they don’t want to be at war. And you” — America — “are forcing us to be at war, and not even giving us the money for it.”

His comments appeared to reflect, at least in part, his self-interested frustration that Western diplomats and the International Monetary Fund have been leaning on the president to prevent Mr. Kolomoisky from regaining control of the bank seized from him and a co-owner in 2016 amid allegations of a multibillion-dollar embezzlement.

The I.M.F. is reportedly holding up financing for Ukraine in part because of concerns that Mr. Zelensky is not doing enough to recover funds that Mr. Kolomoisky is accused of stealing from his Ukrainian bank, Privatbank, which cost the government in Kiev $5.6 billion to bail out in 2016.

Mr. Kolomoisky, who denies any wrongdoing and says the government illegally seized his bank, has previously criticized the I.M.F. and what he sees as an excessively assertive Western role in Ukraine, insisting in an emotional interview — as he has in the past — that Mr. Zelensky should be prepared to default on the fund’s loans.

But he described the impeachment proceedings now gripping Washington as a last straw, and he spoke in blunt terms about the logic of embracing Russia as a partner. It has become clear that the European Union and NATO will never take in Ukraine, he said, so it would be best to accept reality and not even try.

“You all won’t take us” in the alliance, Mr. Kolomoisky said in the interview, in a conference room at his offices in Kiev. “There’s no use in wasting time on empty talk. Whereas Russia would love to bring us into a new Warsaw Pact.”

As a fixture in Ukraine’s Jewish community, he countered the notion advanced by the Kremlin that the new pro-Western government in Kiev was run by neo-Nazis.

In 2017, Mr. Kolomoisky left Ukraine for Switzerland and Israel after the government under then-President Petro O. Poroshenko seized Privatbank and accused him of a large-scale fraud that threatened to destabilize Ukraine’s economy. He returned this past May after the election of Mr. Zelensky, the comedian whose hit sitcom about a good-at-heart teacher turned president of Ukraine appeared on Mr. Kolomoisky’s television channel.

He said financing from Russia could replace loans from the I.M.F., which has pushed for anticorruption reforms that annoy Ukraine’s entrenched business interests.

“We’ll take $100 billion from the Russians. I think they’d love to give it to us today,” Mr. Kolomoisky said. “What’s the fastest way to resolve issues and restore the relationship? Only money.”

So Poroshenko seized Kolomoisky’s bank and the IMF and US have been pressuring Zelensky not to let this guy back into power circles.

The screwy Nazbol narrative on this has completely collapsed. They’re always saying that Ukraine is run by Jews and that they’re all in on some grand conspiracy with the West to harm the innocent, beneficent Kremlin.

The truth is far more nuanced.

The Nazbol disinfo relies on low-information when it comes to issues like this. There are powerful Jews in both Russia and Ukraine, and those Jews took the side of their country of residence in the conflict. The Nazbols hide any information that doesn’t fit some cookie-cutter fake narrative that portrays the Kremlin as a heroic force against globalists.

If the Ukraine Maidan revolution was all some grand conspiracy by George Soros to bring Ukraine into the EU and flood them with immigrants, as we often hear from these subversives, then why has it not happened after six years?

Ukraine has yet to be admitted into the EU or NATO.

The truth is that Yanukovich was just as lackluster as Poroshenko or any other Ukrainian president. None of these people are true nationalists. They’re all centrists. Yanukovich was actually more aligned with the far-left in Ukraine. Poroshenko was center-right. The far-left in Eastern Europe are rabid Russophiles. All they really care about is dragging Ukraine, Eastern Europe and the Baltics back under Russian dominion. Commies and leftists in Eastern Europe have always been a fifth-column for Russia.

Yanukovich was no less pro-Jewish than any other Ukrainian politician. To paint that loser as some kind of anti-globalist hero is a laughable farce that only paid propagandists for the Kremlin could come up with.

At least one of Yanukovich’s former ministers who had an arrest warrant out on him for corruption fled to Israel.

Haaretz:

A former Ukrainian minister suspected of corruption and who has an international arrest warrant out against him fled to Israel and received Israeli citizenship, according to a report in Yedioth Ahronoth.

Edward Stawicki served as energy and coal industry minister under former president Viktor Yanukovych, who was ousted in February. He fled Ukraine like other ministers who left following anti-government protests in the country earlier this year.

During a police search of his apartment, they found 42 kilograms of gold, $4.8 million in cash, diamonds and documents relating to property and companies abroad, according to the report.

Ukrainian authorities suspect Stawicki of corruption and issued an international arrest warrant for him in March; since August he has also been wanted by Interpol.

An official at the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said the government was informed that Stawicki fled to Israel and that he received Israeli citizenship due, according to Yedioth Ahronoth. Stawicki’s grandmother was reportedly Jewish.

Many Jews and Antifa leftists volunteered for the Russian rebel side in the conflict.

Guardian:

Police have arrested eight Spanish men who returned from fighting alongside pro-Russia forces in eastern Ukraine, in what they said was the first operation of its kind in Europe.

Officers detained the suspects in six regions across Spain after they returned from predominantly Russian-speaking eastern Ukraine, the interior ministry said in a statement.

They had gone to Ukraine last year where they joined pro-Russia groups fighting for independence in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the statement added.

The Spaniards belonged to the far left and were inspired by the International Brigades, the multinational volunteer forces that fought against Francisco Franco’s uprising during the Spanish civil war in the 1930s.

They are suspected of being accomplices in killings allegedly carried out by pro-Russia groups, and of possessing arms.

Far-left Antifa types swarmed the ranks of the pro-Russian rebels, claiming that their mission was to “fight fascism” in Ukraine. When international Antifa fags are fighting for your cause, you know something’s seriously wrong with your cause.

None of these facts bother the Nazbols though because they are paid to lie about all this. Their goal is to portray any country or movement that doesn’t sufficiently cuck to Moscow as under Jewish or “liberal” control. All they’re trying to do is push all nations closer to Russia in order to fulfill the Duginist/Eurasianist plan to deliver the globe into the hands of Russia, China and Islam.

Lying and distorting reality is imperative for their plans to succeed.

The true third position in Ukraine is the Azov/National Corps group who have never said that they want to join the EU. To the contrary, they’ve criticized the EU for its globalist/leftist stances on things like refugees, immigration and fag rights. Azov strives for an independent Ukraine and have sought to deepen the alliance between the conservative-led Vicegrad group of countries, which they call the Intermarium project.

They want to carve out an independent power bloc of Eastern European and Baltic countries. I support that. An Intermarium will allow for those smaller countries sandwiched between Russia and Western Europe to maintain their independence from outside foes. They won’t have to cuck to either Russia, the United States or the EU and can pursue their own destiny.

The Azov movement supports Intermarium.

The New Nationalism, a publication close to Azov, had this to say about the Kremlin’s schizophrenic position towards nationalism in the West:

By sensing the total lack of values in Europe, Russia uses European nationalism as a tool in its geopolitical struggle against the U.S. and Europe. President Putin, who comes from the KGB, naturally continues the politics of neo-Stalinism that recognizes nationalism as an “necessary evil” – an instrument in the struggle for global hegemony. At the same time, this creates a schizophrenic situation for the country that is multicultural domestically and fighting against nationalism of its neighbouring countries as “fascism”. People of the regime like Dugin are trying hard to camouflage this schizophrenia at least in the eyes of foreign right-wingers with ideology of Eurasianism.

So now you can understand why you hear some sectors of the American and European white nationalist movement parroting Kremlin talking points on issues like Ukraine, the Baltics, the Middle East…. they are paid in rubles to do it.

Dugin said the same thing in various screeds and interviews, that he would infiltrate and steer the European New Right to serve his ends and then discard them later.

This is pure Leninism, folks.
