Well, I hypothesize that Orban himself is the usual politician. He just found himself in a situation where some of europe’s people are starting to get pissed off. Hungary is one of the places that such people exist. And he has to support them, because otherwise simply another party will win. That’s what right-wingers AND left-wingers do. They try to appease the people that are on their “camp”>
Orban could be a legitimate nationalist/pan-nationalist but I very highly doubt it. However, that doesn’t mean that he is not doing a relatively good job.
Netanyahu can acuse Soros all he wants. They might even be in bed together. Like good Socratic philosophers we can say that we don’t know shit about what’s going on. Thankfuly we CAN know comparatively more at this point of time because of the internet, that’s why I urge everyone including myself to research stuff when “something doesn’t add up”.
I just don’t trust any politician, but I am open to praise (and of course criticize 😉 ) any politician that stands out of the crowd. We just have to be aware (and beware) of bullshit. And with all the stuff I have seen in recent years: it wouldn’t surprise me even if Orban, Netanyahu AND Soros are ALL in bed together 😛 lol ahahaha. When there are “rivalries” in any MEDIA, you have to assume that they might be faking it.
Being suspicious, but not overly-suspicious (paranoid) is a bitch. But it is the duty of every critical thinker.
The problem is that Orban is pro-Zionist. The same to all those prominent “nationalist” movements in Europe. They are actually mostly civic nationalists. They are truly against immigrants, yet this is not everything. Maybe it’s a ploy to prevent true nationalism to rise. Europeans will be satisfied by dealing the immigration problem, yet the Jewish problem won’t be solved. In the future, Jews and leftists shall try to bring immigrants to Europe again. As much I know, U.S. president Wilson supported racial laws, yet he was one of greatest Jewish puppets.

Orban seems to be a Russian agent in several ways. They’ll be expanding the country’s nuke plant, the Russians will build and finance it with a 10bln Euro credit. The contract details have been declared state secret for decades. And this deal was largely brokered by the Rothschild Group. (Rothschild in France, I think, and this is not a theory. And one can imagine this will potentially strengthen ties to Russia over time, down to things like that accomodation will be built for the Russian workers and schools for their children.)
Or maybe one could say they are acting as some kind of Russian-Israeli proxy. I think you can find statements from the Hungarian FM quite literally saying they condenm the EU’s policies against Israel. Recently they got some propaganda boost out of Israel for their anti-Soros stance.
Recently they declined to sign some joint declaration by all EU states against China. A new railway is beign built from Belgrade to Budapes financed by the Chinese that will facilitate Chinese exports through the Balkans into Europe.
This is speculative but if you look at how Orban became a public figure 30 years ago, he could hold a speech at a large public event in which he also demanded the pullout of the Soviet troops from the country. I wonder if just an ordinary student would’ve been allowed that. Ultimately that event was also organized by the state apparatus, but it was also like obligatory for studends to be member of the Communist Youth, and thus so was Orban a member and several others in his party.
I think Orban might be a phony nationalist, kept there for a while to pave the way for the Eurasianist takeover. Preparing the mindset of the people, getting them ready. He’s a “failed” Soros project, as they say (there’s no such thing – when an aristocrat endorses you, you get results or you die).
